MESSAGE BOARD

The cultivation of edible fungi should not violate the agricultural production as the crop production, especially because the edible fungus production has a long cycle from seed production to mushroom harvesting, plus some subjective and objective factors that may affect the production process, and cross-season cultivation problems. Farmers must make arrangements for their own mushroom plans.

1.The spring and summer should be the main varieties

The edible fungi cultivated in spring and summer mainly include oyster mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms, and the cultivation period is generally from March to August from the time of seed production to the end of mushrooming.

Oyster Mushroom: Variety is diverse, according to the color of the cap, Pleurotus ostreatus can be divided into black species, gray species, gray-white species and white species, but the color of the cap will change with the temperature rise and fall; It can be divided into low temperature species, medium and low temperature species, medium and high temperature species and wide temperature species.

Shiitake Mushroom: the variety is more diverse. According to the suitable cultivation substrate, there are wood chips, wood species and wood chips and wood. The fruit is divided into early and late species according to the length of the mushroom cycle. Leaf species, middle leaf species, and small leaf species; according to the temperature of the mushroom, it can be divided into low temperature species, medium temperature species, high temperature species and wide temperature species.

In spring and summer, due to the gradual increase in temperature, cultivating oyster mushrooms and mushrooms must be carried out in medium-high temperature, high-temperature or wide-temperature varieties.

2.Variety that should be promoted in summer and autumn

In summer and autumn, there are many edible fungi to be cultivated. In addition to oyster mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms, other such as Agaricus bisporus, Coprinus comatus, Pleurotus ostreatus, Pleurotus eryngii, and yellow umbrella can be cultivated, from seed production to mushrooming. Usually between June and November. Summer and autumn cultivation of oyster mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms must be replaced, and must not be used in spring and summer varieties, otherwise it will lead to reduced production or even no mushroom, should choose medium temperature or wide temperature type.

Button Mushroom: It can make heavy use of discarded crop straws, mainly in bed cultivation, and the relative cultivation cost is lower, but the labor is lower, and the production is lower and less stable. According to the characteristics of mycelium, Agaricus bisporus can be divided into gas-type, scorpion-type and semi-salt type; according to the product form suitable for sale by fruiting bodies, it can be divided into three categories: fresh-selling varieties, canned species and fresh-selling cans. When planting, choose the appropriate variety according to market demand.

Coprinus Mushroom: similar to the cultivation of Agaricus bisporus, it has the characteristics of not covering the soil and not growing the mushroom. Therefore, the method of bed or Yangshuo cultivation is generally used to produce the mushroom. In most parts of the province, it can be found in summer and in autumn.

Bailing Mushroom: It is a wild mushroom that occurs on the semi-rooted root of a ferulous plant in Xinjiang. It is also artificially domesticated, so it is also called a Weiwei mushroom. Because of its taste, taste and mushroom appearance, it is similar to abalone and is known as abalone. Bailing mushroom belongs to the medium and low temperature type and has very obvious characteristics of temperature change and firmness. At present, from the perspective of the shape of the mushroom body, Bailing mushroom has two kinds of palm shape and handle shape, and these varieties are more popular in the market.

Yellow Umbrella: Also known as Fei Phosphorus, there are wild bacteria distributed in Wutai Mountain and Guandi Mountain in our province, which has been successfully cultivated by artificial domestication. The mushroom is not only delicious, but also very medicinal. It is the prescription of the famous Chinese medicine “Shujinsan” in our province. According to the Quality Supervision and Testing Center of Edible Fungi Products of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Nutrition and Food Safety Institute of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention. Test, the nutrients are very comprehensive, almost all the vitamins needed by the human body, as well as anti-tumor and anti-cancer effects, have a good effect on the prevention of infection of staphylococcus, Escherichia coli and Mycobacterium tuberculosis, so the yellow umbrella is suitable for both medicine and medicine. Delicious food. The cultivation of the yellow umbrella can be carried out in the same manner as the cultivation method of the oyster mushroom, and the mushroom can also be taken from the impotence.

3.Varieties that should be promoted in autumn and winter

The edible fungi that can be cultivated in autumn and winter mainly include oyster mushroom, shiitake mushroom, Bailing mushroom, and enoki mushroom. The period from seed production to mushrooming is generally from September to March of the following year.

Both Pleurotus ostreatus and Flammulina velutipes are low-temperature fungi, which are naturally suitable for cultivation in autumn and winter. As for oyster mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms, in the autumn and winter, due to the low temperature, medium and low temperature varieties should be selected for cultivation.

Conclusion:

In summary, through reasonable matching, you can completely grow mushrooms in the four seasons. However, it is necessary to pay special attention to the fact that in the annual production process, in addition to the various aspects of seed production, germination and mushrooming of different mushrooms, the isolation work should be done first. The bacteria and the mushrooming site must be strictly separated and timed. Sterilize and sterilize, remove waste bags, and avoid cross-infection of pests and diseases. The management measures in each season should be flexibly controlled according to the production conditions and climate characteristics of different mushrooms.
